Order Information

To order our products, you must be at least 18 years old. The prices of the products include VAT (25.5%). We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.

Placing an Order Add the items you wish to order to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Enter the buyer’s details at checkout. Choose the payment method (see payment options). Confirm your order by accepting the contents of the shopping cart. By placing an order, you agree to these terms of delivery, product prices, and shipping costs. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided. The confirmation will include the ordered products, their prices, and warranty terms (for ski warranties). Please review the order confirmation carefully.

Payment Methods Payments and shipping costs for purchases from PUSU’s online store are made at the time of ordering. We do not deliver orders cash on delivery. The payment methods available in our online store include: Finnish online banks, most credit cards, and installment payment options.

Shipping Costs Shipping costs will be added at checkout. You can easily see the amount of shipping costs before making your purchase decision. Collect the desired products in your shopping cart and enter the postal code of the delivery address in the field below the cart. The calculator will determine the shipping costs for your selected cart. Continue shopping, proceed to order, or exit the service. Orders over 100 euros are delivered without additional shipping costs within Finland and the EU.

Shipping Methods

DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS IN FINLAND Shipping methods for domestic orders in Finland are Posti and Matkahuolto parcel services.

EUROPEAN UNION SHIPMENTS Shipments within the EU are handled by GLS. GLS delivers parcels to the nearest pickup point to the recipient.

OTHER AREAS For other countries, we use varying international parcel services based on the situation. The price is determined regionally in the shopping cart. Note that shipments outside the EU may incur customs duties. The recipient is responsible for customs duties in the destination country.

Tracking Your Shipment When your order leaves our workshop for delivery, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number to monitor your parcel’s progress.

If a product is returned to PUSU for reasons beyond our control, we will charge 15 euros for reshipping the product.

Return Policy Our skis have a 14-day exchange and return policy. The return policy only applies to saleable products. Please note that binding installation on the skis or personalized veneer patterns are custom-made, and therefore the right to exchange and return the skis is void. If the product has been used, bindings attached by yourself, or the skis damaged during handling, the customer's right to return is void. Additionally, if a product is returned contrary to the instructions, the customer’s right to return may be void, and we are not obliged to accept the product.

Customers must contact PUSU customer service before returning a product by email, phone, or letter. Returns must be made according to the instructions provided by customer service.

Product returns for domestic orders in Finland are free of charge if the product is returned using the return code or other instructions provided. We reserve the right to change the return method.

Include the following information with your return:

  • Order number
  • Your name, address, email address, and phone number
  • Your bank account number
  • A copy of the PUSU order confirmation

We do not accept returns after 14 days from the receipt of delivery. Once the return is approved, the money will be refunded directly to your account after the return is received and processed. By law, PUSU is obligated to refund the money within 30 days of receiving the product return.

Problems and Defective Products If a product is damaged or lost during transportation or if you receive the wrong product, report the issue immediately to Puuppolan Suksi customer service so that we can assess the situation.

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product.

Warranty Terms for Clothing and Equipment Our clothing and equipment have a warranty covering material and manufacturing defects in accordance with the warranty terms of the importer at the time.

Warranty Terms for Skis We work hard to produce durable skis and trust that you will take good care of them with regular maintenance. See our comprehensive ski maintenance services here.

Our skis come with a statutory two-year (24 months) warranty covering material and manufacturing defects. We also offer a two-year (24 months) warranty against the detachment of bindings installed by PUSU. The warranty period is calculated from the original purchase date.

If you notice or suspect a material or manufacturing defect in the skis that falls under the warranty (see warranty exclusions below), contact PUSU customer service.

A ski covered by the warranty will be examined, after which the defective ski will be repaired or replaced with a new equivalent.

Exclusions from Warranty Please carefully review the warranty exclusions before using your skis for the first time:

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Wear and tear from normal use, such as scratches or cuts from ski edges or poles.
  • Damage from use on rails or collisions with other skis, rocks, trees, stumps, gravel, ski lift components, or anything other than snow.
  • Damage caused by: hitting hard surfaces to remove snow, hitting skis together, improperly installed bindings by anyone other than PUSU employees, impacts from sharp objects, twisting, compression, dropping, or abnormal impacts.
  • Changes made by the customer or defects from personal modifications, or if the product is used for purposes it was not designed for.
  • Misuse of the skis, such as damage from poor maintenance or neglect of the product’s care.
  • Rusting of skis or damage from storage near heat sources.
  • Damage from inadequate or poor care and maintenance or storage.
  • Fading or wear of veneer patterns, logos, or other personalized veneer designs due to use or UV exposure.
  • Oxidation or rusting of ski edges.
  • Incorrect binding installation or multiple drilling of the ski pair.
  • Damage caused by third parties (another person, vehicle, transportation, etc.).
  • Damage resulting from inappropriate or extreme use for the product’s intended purpose.

The warranty is void if the customer cannot provide proof of purchase (order confirmation) from within the past two years.

Miscellaneous All claims must be made within two months of discovering the issue or when the customer should have discovered the defect.

PUSU is not responsible for additional costs arising from the warranty process, such as binding installation on replacement skis.

A replacement product does not initiate a new warranty period.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without prior notice. Customers should review the current terms and conditions before placing an order.

We handle all information with complete confidentiality.

Force Majeure and Indirect Liability In the event of a force majeure, PUSU may delay the delivery of the product or cancel the entire order, refunding any amount already paid by the customer. Force majeure events may include actions by authorities, technical faults, interruption of operations due to water damage, fire, or other accidents, general transportation or energy supply interruptions, labor disputes, or other similar causes that PUSU could not reasonably anticipate and whose effects it could not reasonably avoid.

PUSU is not responsible for indirect damages caused by defective condition of products or delayed delivery. Our liability is limited to the product itself.
