Refund policy

Returns

Our skis come with a 14-day exchange and return policy. This policy applies only to sellable products. Please note that mounting bindings on skis at our workshop or personalized veneer graphics are custom work, which nullifies the right to exchange or return the skis. If the product has been used, if bindings have been mounted by the customer, or if the skis have been damaged during handling, the customer’s right to return is void. Additionally, if the product is returned against the provided instructions, the customer's right to a return may be voided, and we are not obliged to accept the product.

Customers must contact PUSU customer service before returning an item via email, phone, or mail. Returns should be made according to the instructions provided by customer service.

For orders within Finland, returns are free of charge when using the return code or other instructions provided. We reserve the right to change the return method.

Include the following information with your return:

  • Order number
  • Your name, address, email address, and phone number
  • Your bank account number
  • A copy of the PUSU order confirmation

Warranty Terms for Skiing Skis

We work hard to produce durable skiing skis and trust that you will take good care of them and maintain them regularly. Please familiarize yourself with our comprehensive ski maintenance service.

Our skis come with a statutory two-year (24 months) warranty against material and manufacturing defects as per consumer protection law. We also offer a two-year (24 months) warranty against binding detachment when installed by PUSU. The warranty period starts from the original purchase date.

If you notice or suspect a material or manufacturing defect in your skis that falls under the warranty (see warranty limitations below), contact PUSU customer service.

A ski under warranty will be inspected, and if found defective, it will be repaired or replaced with a comparable new one.

Warranty Limitations

Please carefully review the warranty limitations before using your skis for the first time:

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Normal wear and tear from use, such as scratches or marks on the ski surface from edges or poles.
  • Damage resulting from use on rails or collisions with other skis, rocks, trees, stumps, gravel, ski lift parts, or anything other than snow.
  • Damage from striking the skis against hard surfaces to remove snow, clashing skis together, incorrectly installed bindings, impacts from sharp objects, twisting, compression, dropping, or abnormal impacts.
  • Customer-made modifications or defects from personal alterations, or if the product has been used for a purpose for which it was not designed.
  • Misuse of the skis, such as defects from poor maintenance or neglecting the product’s upkeep.
  • Rust or damage from storing skis near a heat source.
  • Damage from inadequate or poor maintenance or storage.
  • Fading or wear of surface veneer or personalized graphics due to use or exposure to UV light.
  • Edge oxidation or rust.
  • Incorrect binding installation or multiple drilling of the ski pair.
  • Damage caused by a third party (another person, vehicle, transportation, etc.).
  • Damage resulting from inappropriate or extreme use of the product for its intended purpose.

Our warranty is void if the customer cannot provide proof of purchase (order confirmation) less than two years old.

Familiarize yourself with the skis, their proper use, and features before use. Review our maintenance service.

Other

All compensation claims must be made within two months of discovering the issue or when the customer should have reasonably discovered the defect.

PUSU is not responsible for additional costs arising from the warranty process, such as transferring bindings to a replacement pair of skis.

A replacement product does not reset the warranty period.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery without prior notice. Customers should review the current terms of use before placing an order.

We handle all information confidentially.

Force Majeure and Indirect Liability

In the event of force majeure, PUSU may postpone delivery or cancel the entire order, refunding any payment made by the customer. Force majeure events include, but are not limited to, government actions, technical failures, operational interruptions due to water damage, fire, or other accidents, general transportation or energy supply interruptions, labor disputes, or other similar significant and unusual causes beyond PUSU's reasonable control and which could not be avoided.

PUSU is not liable for indirect damages caused by defective products or delayed deliveries. Our liability is limited to the value of the defective product or up to the maximum compensation stipulated by consumer protection law. Therefore, we are not responsible for damages potentially caused by improper binding installation.
