From a love of winter nature
PUSU was born from a love for winter’s untouched nature. Our goal is to create the world’s best skis with the smallest possible environmental footprint. We want to ensure that future generations can also enjoy pristine, snowy landscapes. That’s why we actively advocate for more sustainable production and winter sports practices.
Wood in the core and on the surface
Our alpine skis have ash cores. We chose ash because it withstands repeated flexing and springs back under load. The wood you see on top is veneer. At our Laukaa workshop we can refinish the tops of used skis when their condition allows.
Sustainable production
All of our products are handcrafted in Finland, ensuring high quality and a minimal environmental footprint. We ship our skis within Finland using carbon-neutral Posti deliveries, so the environmental impact of shipping is kept to a minimum. Our production is based on renewable wind energy, which significantly reduces environmental impacts.
