Puuppolan Suksi has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 Metsä360 recognition award. We are proud and excited about this significant acknowledgment, which reflects our passionate commitment to crafting natural and high-quality skis.
PUSU has been shaped by a love for nature and a passion for perfection. The layered structure of our skis is based on natural and renewable wood materials: the core of the ski is genuine wood, the surface is wood veneer, and the layers include high-quality natural raw materials such as SPINNOVA® fiber.
The key features of our products are environmental friendliness, performance, and functionality. Our goal is to create the world's best skis with the smallest possible environmental footprint.
We have continuously developed our production capacity, gaining international recognition, such as the prestigious ISPO Award. This highlights our commitment to continuous product development and high quality. We continue to develop our products using natural components and strive to bring Finnish craftsmanship and expertise in natural materials to the world.
Our love for craftsmanship, nature, and outdoor activities defines our work daily. These values will be visible and tangible in our products in the future as well. Our products offer users a unique and sustainable experience.
We thank all our partners and customers who have been part of our journey. This finalist position for the Metsä360 award is a testament to our joint efforts towards a more sustainable and higher-quality future. We are committed to continuing our development work and showcasing the beauty of wood and craftsmanship in our products.
Thank you to the Marjatta and Eino Kolli Foundation and LUT University for this opportunity. In addition to Puuppolan Suksi, the other finalists for the recognition award are the Finnish Forest Museum Lusto and Uute Scientific. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for all the finalists!
