How do PUSU skis differ from other skis?
The uniqueness of our skis lies in the use of natural materials. We place a strong emphasis on maximizing the use of wood. Wood is a traditional, renewable, durable, and high-performance core material for skis. PUSU skis feature a modern, layered sandwich construction, where different core material and fiber layers are laminated tightly together to achieve desired characteristics.
We finish our skis with genuine, responsibly sourced wood veneer, giving them a natural and unique appearance. Each ski is one-of-a-kind, making our skis particularly valued and desirable. Additionally, the careful design and craftsmanship ensure excellent performance in various conditions.
So, PUSU skis combine Finnish craftsmanship with top-notch natural materials, unique aesthetics, durability, and performance, making them distinctly different from mass-produced skis. And of course, their uniqueness also comes from the fact that our workshop crafts them with passion – from skiers for skiers, with extensive experience and just the right touch of flair!
Where are PUSU skis manufactured?
Skis are manufactured fully in Finland, in Laukaa, near the city of Jyväskylä. Feel free to visit us and check out our workshop!
Where can I test PUSU skis?
PUSU skis are available at a wide range of ski resorts across Finland. You can find the current list of rental locations here.
Additionally, you can test PUSU skis at our own test events throughout the season. We announce all events on our social media channels!
Does PUSU offer maintenance services?
Yes, PUSU offers comprehensive maintenance services for skis, snowboards, and cross-country skis from all manufacturers. Our services include waxing, re-coating, edge sharpening, and base repair. You can order maintenance services through our online store or visit our workshop.
