Piste 75

Grip on hard pistes. Precision in tight turns.

Piste 75 is a carving piste ski you can really lean into a turn. A long effective edge and a torsionally stiff build hold firmly on hard snow, and the ski comes out of each turn in a controlled way. You get the tight arc of a slalom ski and support for fast skiing – yet Piste is just as happy on a relaxed day on the slopes. Every pair is handmade in Laukaa, Finland, and finished with its own unique oak veneer.

Who it’s for

How to choose your ski length

Start with your own height and where you ski. Then decide whether you value easy turning or stability at speed more.

On piste
A piste ski is usually about 5–15 cm shorter than you.
On and off piste
An all-mountain ski is often slightly shorter than you or about your height.
Soft natural snow
A freeride ski is often about your height or slightly longer.

Between two sizes?

The shorter option is usually easier to handle and turn. The longer one usually adds stability at speed and float in soft snow.

Example: if you are 175 cm tall, the general starting range for a piste ski is about 160–170 cm.

These are general starting points. Your weight, skiing style and the ski’s construction also matter. Even experienced skiers don’t need to pick the longest size.

Piste 75

On Piste, a shorter size emphasises agile handling. A longer one adds support at speed. Either way, the model keeps its character, made for tight turns.

About the poles

Grip even in a hard turn.

When you tip the ski into a turn, its steel edge bites into the snow. Piste is built for torsional stiffness: the construction resists twisting and helps the edge hold its angle as the load builds.

The tip rise is moderate and the effective edge long. The effective edge is the part of the ski’s edge that works against the snow. Piste’s profile is designed to make the most of it on hard, groomed pistes.

Damping for hard snow.

Hard snow makes a ski vibrate. Piste’s multiple material layers calm vibration and chatter. The ash wood core adds strength, withstands repeated flexing and contributes to the ski’s lively rebound.

Piste’s stability and controlled character come from the whole construction working together: the wood core, the surrounding layers and the ski’s shape. The oak veneer on top is mainly about looks; the feel on snow comes from the core and the construction.

Craftsmanship shows in the finish.

PUSU skis have been developed since 2009. Our design combines physics know-how with feedback from experienced skiers. Every pair of Piste is assembled and finished in our workshop in Laukaa, Finland.

Piste’s standard surface is real oak veneer. The grain and tone vary, so your pair may look slightly different from the product photos. The wood surface can be refinished after use.

You can also ask for Piste with another veneer from our collection. In that case the pair is made for your order. We confirm availability, price and delivery time before you order.
